Ro-Ro (Roll on, roll off) or barge fee depends on the kind of vehicle. I went to bacolod via Tampi Port last 27 May’09. Rates for private vehicles are:
For a car/L300 Van/SUV, it’s Php800.00-985.00.
L300 passenger type is Php2,000.
Driver’s barge/terminal fee is free for two (2) passengers. All “one way”.

Yes. It hasn’t changed. I had my recent trip last 29 May’09. Be there at least 6AM-6:30AM to be sure nonetheless (for a better seat and trip) … and that’s the only trip schedule they have for that route.
Otherwise, you can take “cutting trips”, that is, take any bus to dumaguete; de-bus at Sibulan City; catch a ceres bus passing by the Sibulan hi-way from Dumaguete to kabankalan/Bacolod via Mabinay). Happy trip.

The last time I checked, it’s practically the same schedules as that on “Travel Guide” page of the blog (www.stilldrops.wordpress.com)
You can either take:
1. Cebu-Bacolod-kabankalan (Approx Php400-500 total fare): Next trips after 12nn: 3pm (via Toledo) and 9pm. Both 7-8hrs trip; OR,
2. Cebu-dumaguete-kabankalan (Approx Php400-500 total fare): Next trips after 12nn:
Cebu-dumaguete: 1pm, 3pm, 6pm (aircon: 3hrs trip via Santander/Liloan Cebu to AMLAN/Sibulan Ports)
Dumaguete-Kabankalan: leaves every 30minutes: (4hrs trip via Mabinay Road)
Notes:
Best to be at the terminal earlier, afternoon trips at times leave earlier than schedule esp during low passenger-count season.
Mabinay Road is zigzag (like bitukang-Manok in South Quezon Prov. in Luzon or up-road to Baguio City. Very very few lamp posts
and many fears bus hold-ups at nighttime (had no experience in my years of travel).

Last time I checked with MAAYO Shipping, barge fee for SUV and L300 van is Php850 (inclusive of 2 persons). Not sure for a car. 30minutes trip from Bato to AMLAN. Cebu Coty proper to Bato takes about 3 hrs trip. You may call (035) 4170280 or (035) 4196023 to verify current fare. It’s a first come, first ride service. Priority is the Ceres Bus units. Wala e. Mas usual na choice for budget trip (passenger, ro-ro, o common cargoes) for tagbilaran ay Melrivick at LiteShipping (Tel# 032-2551721 to 26) … ayos din sa kanila mura lang fees and charges. No idea sa current fees nila pero 100% malaki ang menos kesa Oceanjet, Supercat at Weesam. I haven’t gotten the latest rates for the Ro-Ro rates. The most popular and recommended is Lite Shipping (http://www.lite-shipping.com/rates.php). Safe and budget-saver. You may either take the Cebu-Bohol via Tubigon Port or Cebu-Bohol via Tagbilaran Port (Main port of Bohol). Happy trip!

Hi! where are you coming from? If from Cebu, you can take Cokaliong or TransAsia Shipping Lines to Iloilo or Roxas City; then by land to Aklan. Shipping companies usually base their car charges from the weight of the vehicle plus terminal fee. Only the driver is usually free aboard. If with pets, you need to have them vaccinated first and get a veterinary permit. Other passengers pay the usual accomodation rate of the shipping lines. Bon voyage!

If it’s the Bato Wharf to Cebu City proper, i got 121 kilometers estimate via the website. (From: Cebu City, Philippines and a little forward from the tip of the corner area after Santander). It’s a 3 hour-Ceres bus trip (fast-to-little reckless driving) though.

Hi! With Maayo Shipping Lines (Barge for Dumaguete) at Liloan-Santander, Cebu its Php850/trip for a car. That’s the last time I heard (unless they increased the passage rate. I assume, It won’t be more than a thousand). The driver and 1 passenger are free of charge. Happy trip!

Not sure sa December 2011 schedule nila (before 3am). Fare is P450-500 (included na ang Bato-Tampi Barge fee na P70/person). If you can’t take the direct trip Bacolod-Cebu, may option ka pa rin: Take any trip to Dumaguete (P250 siguro ngayon); baba ka sa Bato Port or Sibulan Port; take fast craft (P65?) o pump boat (P35). May mga Ceres bus na naka terminal pagbaba nyo sa Liloan Port. I prefer to reach Tampi/Sibulan at most for 5pm trip to be sure makaabot sa earlier trip just in case. Happy trip.

Hi! From Bato Port, take the Barge (20 minutes) which will bring you to Santander, Cebu. Take the Road going to the right which leads you straight on to Carcar City all the way to Cebu City Proper (3-4hrs).

Via Sibulan wharf (on fastcraft) is the shortest way from Dumaguete.
The fastcraft leaves every 30 minutes until 9PM? A Ceres bus awaits at the Liloan wharf.
Avoid peak traffic time so you will not be caught by traffic entering cebu city proper.
Although, it take 6 hours trip time, I also take the GP or Cokaliong night trip at the Dumaguete or Cebu port once in a while.
At least, I get a good sleep and arrive earliest in Cebu or vice versa with enough rest for the night caps 🙂

Not sure of the updated rate. They usually base the rate on the gross weight of the vehicle.
